Rand International Holdings Sdn. Bhd. is the investment holding and strategic management arm of Rand Group Malaysia, a diversified Malaysian business group with roots dating back to 1994.
From its beginnings in international industrial technology and machinery distribution, the Group has evolved over more than three decades into a diversified business ecosystem with strategic interests across Real Estate, Technology, Manufacturing, Education, Digital Commerce, Tourism, and Investments.

TS. HARALD CHIA KHIN CHOW, CMILT
GROUP EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN
Ts. Harald Chia is the Honorary Founder and Group Executive Chairman of Rand International Holdings Sdn. Bhd. , where he has led the Group's growth and diversification across seven core sectors: technology, manufacturing, real estate, education, digital commerce, tourism, and investments.
In 1994, he founded Rand Asia Sdn. Bhd., transforming it into one of Malaysia's leading distributors of computerized embroidery machines and software. Today, the company commands approximately 68% of the Malaysian market and holds more than 12 exclusive distributorships, representing internationally recognised brands including HappyJapan, Toyota, GMI, and Brother. Under his leadership, Rand Asia became the first Malaysian company to receive top honours at major international industry competitions in Europe and the United States, an achievement recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records.
He also served as Honorary Advisor to Melawing (KL) Group of Companies, an established Malaysian property developer with more than 40 years of industry experience and a cumulative development portfolio exceeding RM1.14 billion in Gross Development Value (GDV).
Ts. Harald Chia is a Professional Technologist (Ts.) registered with the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) and a Chartered Member (CMILT) of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Malaysia. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Universiti Malaysia Pahang.
MARCUS CHIA ZENG YIK
GROUP MANAGING DIRECTOR & CEO
Marcus Chia is the Group Managing Director & CEO of Rand International Holdings Sdn. Bhd. Since joining the Group in 2015, he has led its strategic expansion into Malaysia's real estate sector and continues to drive growth across property development and diversified investments. He is also a shareholder and director of several multinational and Malaysian private companies with interests spanning real estate, education, tourism, technology, and digital commerce.
Prior to joining Rand Group, Marcus served as Corporate & Finance Director of Melawing (KL) Group of Companies, an established Malaysian property developer with a cumulative development portfolio exceeding RM1.14 billion in Gross Development Value (GDV). Earlier in his career, he was a Management Consultant in KPMG's Strategy & Operations practice, where he advised multinational corporations, government-linked agencies, and private enterprises on corporate strategy, business transformation, and large-scale infrastructure initiatives. He also contributed to the conceptualisation and development planning of the Chuping Valley Industrial Area (CVIA), a flagship green technology industrial development under the Twelfth Malaysia Plan (RMK-12), spearheaded by the Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA) in collaboration with the State Government of Perlis.
Marcus began his professional career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Nova Capital Partners, a boutique investment bank headquartered in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.
Marcus holds a Master of Science in Management (Finance) with Distinction from University College London (UCL), a Bachelor of Science in Economics (Finance) from the Pennsylvania State University University Park and completed a Summer Programme at Maastricht University, the Netherlands. He has also completed executive certifications in Construction Finance from Columbia University and Project Finance and Public-Private Partnerships Fundamentals from the New York Institute of Finance.
