Rand Group’s education business is structured around two key pillars: Computerised Embroidery–focused TVET education, established in 1997, and the joint establishment of a private higher education institution in Malaysia with a several foreign higher education group, aimed at facilitating knowledge and technology transfer.

TVET - COMPUTERIZED EMBROIDERY ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Rand Group’s Computerised Embroidery Industry Entrepreneurship Development Education business forms the backbone of its international trading and garment and textile manufacturing operations.

 

Supported by its principals and strategic partners, Rand Academy was established in 1997 as the Group’s education arm to provide entrepreneurship development–based education, training, and consultancy to prospective entrepreneurs aspiring to own and operate Computerised Embroidery businesses. Over the years, Rand Academy has also provided continuous training and advisory support to existing business owners seeking to enhance and scale their Computerised Embroidery operations.

Since its inception, Rand Academy has worked closely with various public and private institutions to support the nation’s social and economic development by nurturing entrepreneurs among the Bumiputera, Middle 40 (M40), and Bottom 40 (B40) communities.

PRIVATE HIGHER EDUCATION  INSTITUTION

Rand Group is currently collaborating with a leading Chinese higher education group, which operates six higher education institutions and serves over 150,000 students, to establish its new campus in Malaysia. This initiative has been endorsed and recognized by the Ministry of Trade, Investment and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), Malaysia.
